You are all invited to Mallorca’s biggest vegan festival!
Don’t miss Vegan Day Out II next Saturday the 26th of August.
Scott Adams held the first festival in July this summer and it was a huge success. So much so that he decided to organise another!
Expected to be bigger and better than the first, we asked Scott to fill us in with all of the exciting details!
Is this the first year to hold a Vegan Day Out?
This is the first time i have attempted to make a Vegan Day Out festival in Mallorca. This will be our second event this year held in Agroturismo Ca Na Susi.
What time will it start and finish?
I like to listen to people that come to our events and I heard a lot of people with families saying it was quite a late start at 6pm. This time we have decided to go for a full Day Out. We will open up to the public at 12 midday and things will start to wind down for a close at 12 midnight.
How many people do you expect to be there on the day?
We had an amazing turnout at Vegan Day Out I with around 1200 people attending.
Who and what can we expect to see at the Vegan Day Out? Will there be entertainment all day?
There will be the same core group from Vegan Day Out team again this time. I have invited some new people to join in to keep the excitement high. We have professional massage teams operating in the summerhouse at the back of our venue. We have 3 bouncy castles and a swimming pool this time too! I’ve also got a lady coming to talk about Antispecism. We have CineConCiencia screening a Documentary by Leonardo DiCaprio on a big screen inside the venue that night. Plus a few more surprises.
Can anyone have a stall at the Vegan Day Out?
Obviously we are a Vegan event so anyone wishing to participate must respect this if they have a shop, retaurant, clothing stall, etc. I welcome everyone to contact me and discuss the opportunity to have a stall at our event as long as everything on the day is 100% vegan.
Are you welcome to attend if you are not a vegan?
The entire island is invited. I wasnt born vegan so it is my duty to encourage others to come down and learn something from us on the day.
What are you most looking forward to about the day?
I like to be present in the moment and enjoy the entertainment, listen to the talks and try some of the delicious food on offer. It’s also really nice to listen to what people have to say about the event. The response last time was unreal which is why i decided to make another Vegan Day Out this year.
Will this be a yearly event on the island?
I’d love to learn form each event and grow each time. I will certainly be pushing to make Vegan Day Out a yearly event.
