The clocks have gone back and we’re relishing the slower pace as the island exhales, allowing us to carve out more time for cosy and comforting activities and to focus on self-care. Here’s what we’re up to this month.
A SELF-CARE AFFAIR
Debbie Lash is one of our favourite yoga teachers on the island, and this Friday the 5th of November she’s bringing us a morning of yoga, breathwork and meditation, followed by a delicious brunch with prosecco and wine at the stunning Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous for just 60€ pp. After the event, you are invited to a private tour of the contemporary art gallery and hotel and can additionally enjoy the hotel’s spa for only €10, plus 20% off any spa treatments. To book this lush event WhatsApp Debbie at +34 666 773 911 (prebook the spa directly with the hotel).
PINK RHINO – MORE THAN A GYM
New kid on the block – Pink Rhino gym, is shaking up the way we workout. Founders Juju and Rob had a clear vision of what they wanted to create before opening their doors in September. As the first Functional Bodybuilding gym in Mallorca, they’re offering a unique training method applicable to every fitness level combining the ideology of functional fitness with the principles of bodybuilding. Located in Son Ferrer in the island’s southwest, the boutique gym is a conceptual space, not only for getting your sweat on but also for fuelling your body with tasty healthy snacks and Mistral Coffee at their onsite café. Make sure you pop in and try a free trial class – we know you’ll be hooked! pinkrhinomallorca.com
