Psoriasis, heart palpitations and fluctuating weight issues. These were just some of the outward symptoms that manifested from the stress and pressure of Deborah Delaney’s career as a successful broker in fast paced London. Deciding a drastic change was needed to get her health back on track, she packed up her life in England and embarked on an overseas adventure with her two children in tow. Finally settling in Phuket, Deborah immersed herself in studying Thai herbs and ancient healing remedies under the tutelage of Master Lew, a 91-year-old Thai Chinese herbalist. Slowly her health returned through the use of herbs, raw foods and juicing, and her body regenerated to a healthier, leaner and fitter state.

Puriti’s wellbeing programs were borne out of Deborah’s personal success in reversing her own health challenges, and her subsequent desire to help others to do the same. Puriti programs utilise a collection of organic herbal supplements alongside a carefully structured schedule. There are three programs to choose from, all designed to help people achieve amazing wellbeing in an easily accessible format using a blend of ancient practices with the benefits of modern scientific techniques. The combination of Thai organic herbs, healthy cuisine, exercise, and mindfulness has helped people worldwide achieve health and balance physically and emotionally.

Only a trusted farmer would do to supply and produce the products for the programs Deborah had carefully created. Fate stepped in by way of a fortunate meeting with an incredible Thai herbalist who not only had the first organic farm in Thailand, an FDA approved manufacturing plant for all things herbal, but someone with great integrity who shared the same visions as Deborah in providing global wellness. Now 14 years on Puriti is still working with Khun Virat and his dedicated team located in WangNamKiew of Nakorn Ratchasima Province. The farm has a long history in organic production and is Organic Certified by international body IFOAM, and by Organic Thailand in 2005. It has also been a research and development centre since 1990. The herbal production is managed with heartfelt care in all aspects with all produce carefully grown, and hand selected.

A Family Affair

Today, both of Deborah’s children work alongside her in the company; her son Zak as Puriti’s Creative Director, and daughter Trinity as the brands Ambassador. Both embody the Puriti ethos and are shining examples of what a childhood of optimum nutrition can do. Trinity describes how Puriti has always been part of her life. “At the tender age of 7, my brother Zak (just 13) and I would watch in horror as mum served us green concoctions with ladles of coconut oil. This was the Deborah Delaney brand of family dinner. I’d shy away and wish for a normal mum, “please just give me plain pasta with butter!” Looking back I’m glad my youth was one of food education, meditation, exercise and health, and a mum who was always seeking to find new ways to make nutrition healthy and exciting for her kids.” With their new headquarters based in Mallorca, Puriti is now available for all of us on the island to enjoy and benefit from.
